Red Ridge has been offering accessible activities to people of all ages and abilities since 1978, and is a Founder member of Adventure for All, a group of outdoor centres dedicated to enabling persons of all abilities to participate in outdoor pursuits. (AALS).

Much of our work is with Special Schools, College Special Needs Groups and Voluntary Groups. Situated in the beautiful hills of Mid-Wales we are easily accessible to guests from most parts of England and Wales. We encourage the belief that all of us have a much greater potential than we would believe, and we seek to emphasise the positives and minimise the negatives.

Very unique and extremely popular are our special breaks for individuals with disabilities, who wish to enjoy an adventure holiday, in the company of like minded people, but who need an element of specialist supervision in order to do so. Our individual guests are of all ages and abilities, and are drawn from a wide range of disabilities including Downs Syndrome, Autism, Epilepsy, Cerebral palsy. Our visitors during these special weeks are mainly making return visits and renew friendships with other visitors making return visits each summer.
