Q11.  What happens if the weather is not so good?
A11.  In the unlikely event that the weather prevents us participating in any of our normal activities we have our artificial caving area and games room as an indoor back up. We also have plenty of other indoor activities to keep us busy. Another alternative might be to dress up against the weather and take an adventurous walk in the hills.

Q12.  Can you accommodate people in wheelchairs?
A12.  This will depend on the individual and we will need to discuss this with you. Two downstairs bedrooms have wheelchair access. There is one downstairs bathroom with wheelchair access. If you need facilities such as a hoist we are able to borrow them from the Red Cross. Many of our activities have been adapted to accommodate wheelchair users. You can probably join the walking groups because we can clamp your wheelchair into the special trailer behind the 4 wheel drive quad; we have a special harness so that you can enjoy the zip wire; wheelchair users who have good use of their arms might be able to participate in the single rope technique activity; canadian canoeing in rafted canoes on the river should be okay as long as we can lift you into the boat and make you comfortable there; we have some special boats for kayaking but not every wheelchair user can manage kayaking; archery will be okay as long as you can use one hand or arm. If not you might be able to use the small paintball gun. We will certainly try to help you participate but it will not always be possible.
