Booking Conditions

A Booking is considered made when, Red Ridge, either verbally, telephonically, electronically, or in writing, have been asked to accept a reservation or to keep a date, or dates, free.

Within 21 days of making a booking a deposit of 10% + VAT of your estimated final balance is required. A second stage payment of a further 20% + VAT must be paid not later than 3 calendar months prior to course starting date. Failure to settle the deposit is not evidence that the booking has been cancelled. Failure to meet settlement dates may result in your dates being offered to other groups. Allowances will be made so long as we are informed.

The balance of payment is required 28 days prior to the starting date of your residential course, or as stated on the invoice. Where appropriate, accounts will be adjusted at the end of the residential course to accommodate small changes in group numbers.

Failure to settle by the due date will incur financial penalty of 5% interest charge as indicated on the invoice and may result in the Group Booking Deposit being forfeited and the dates being offered to another client.

A Booking can only be cancelled by letter or by fax or you may be required to settle the Final Invoice in full. If you need to cancel we regret that we must normally charge the following rates. Any deviation from this will be at our sole discretion.

Cancellation within 4 weeks of course               100% + VAT

Cancellation within 8 weeks of course                75% + VAT

Cancellation within 12 weeks of course              50% + VAT

Cancellation with more than 12 weeks notice      30% + VAT

Cancellation within 14 days of booking               No penalty

In certain circumstances consideration may be given to using cancellation fees as part payment of a course arranged for a later date.

We ask you to note that, as soon as you place your booking, bed spaces are allocated to you. Our bookings are usually 12 months in advance, and, should you cancel, we are unlikely to sell those bed spaces to others. Please take care not to overbook.

We reserve the right to request any guest to withdraw from the course if their behaviour is not conducive to the smooth running of the Centre and the comfort of others. Any fee refunded shall be at our sole discretion.

Insurance - Whilst we carry appropriate insurance to cover any claims arising from our negligence or that of our employees, we are under no liability whatsoever in respect of personal injury or loss which may be incurred by those attending the Centre. You are advised to consider taking out your own Personal Accident Insurance.

Free places - 0.1 free staff places with each paying guest (Groups of 6 or more only).

Payment - Cheques should be made payable to Red Ridge Centre.

Your Final Invoice may show 4 separate costs:

   1. Cost per head

   2. Coach transport to and from Red Ridge

   3. Off-site activities

   4. Duvet hire
